went to watch a movie at my friend's house with some other friends...she and my 2 other friends that I am close with, and then 5 others who i used to be friends with; one who was actually my best friend inseparable until about 6th grade...so she was there and basically they all kind of sucked...it's funny how people change, and how they don't...i'm definitely thankful for all of the friends i've made and become close to from high school and on; when i started to find who I really was and stopped being a carbon copy of other people.
things had been looking up for my great uncle, but last night and today, he was very disoriented and was not able to recognize people or things. I got a call tonight from my dad saying that he was now in intensive care...this whole situation is obviously really difficult, but there are also some family issues that are complicating it as well...i'm reallly worried about my grandmother...this is her older brother...and on top of that, we lost her sister a couple years ago on the 4th..so this week in general is always a hard time for her...we are all being realistic...he is almost 94, but things like this are never easy, no matter how realistic and accepting you can be about it.
i know we will get through it, but its just really tough...and i'm starting to get emotional about it...i'm not sure if i will be able to sleep; i'm really worried about his wife and his children and grandchildren...and my grandmother...
i'm thankful for my friends and all the good vibes and prayers they are sending their way, and especially thankful for those who have listened to me talk through this to them, and sent me messages and everything...for those who care, i am thankful
i'm thankful and grateful for the hilarity of my sister and playing wii fit with her...it was so much fun
and i'm back at my 12 pound weight loss from the summer, minus an additional .2 and i made amazing brownies :)
